Where We Work on the Island
Ten communities along the mid-Island corridor, from Chemainus in the south to Coombs in the west. Close enough that we know the properties, and close enough to get to you quickly.
A Deliberately Tight Service Area
We keep our service area tight on purpose. A radius we actually know means we understand the difference between a salt-exposed waterfront home in Nanoose Bay, a deeply shaded acreage in Errington and a 1960s bungalow in Harewood — and it means we are not scheduling you weeks out because we took a job two hours up the highway.
Every community on this list has its own conditions. Tree cover, coastal exposure, driveway length and the age of the housing all change what a property needs and how long it takes. The pages below go through what we typically see in each one.
Communities Across Mid-Vancouver Island
Home BaseNanaimo, BC
The mid-Island's largest centre, from older Harewood and Chase River homes to the newer North Nanaimo subdivisions.

Lantzville, BC
Treed lots, deep shade and a lot of moss. Lantzville sits ten minutes north of Nanaimo, and its properties show it.
View service area
Nanoose Bay, BC
Long driveways, big roofs and constant salt air. Nanoose properties give the exterior a workout from two directions at once.
View service area
Cedar, BC
Acreages, hobby farms and long approaches south of Nanaimo. Rural properties have more to clean, and more of it gets forgotten.
View service area
Parksville, BC
Patios, sunrooms and beachside homes. Parksville properties are built for outdoor living, which means a lot of hard surface to keep clean.
View service area
Qualicum Beach, BC
One of the most heavily treed towns on the coast, with the shaded roofs to match. Character homes need a gentle hand and a careful eye.
View service area
Ladysmith, BC
A town built on a hillside. Steep drives, stepped paths and heritage timber all need a different approach from a flat suburban lot.
View service area
Chemainus, BC
A small town where how things look genuinely matters. Older homes and public-facing frontages both get a careful hand.
View service area
Errington, BC
Deep forest, deep shade, and moss that establishes fast under a closed canopy. Errington acreages need staying on top of.
View service area
Coombs, BC
Rural acreage on the road west. Big properties, plenty of trees, and a lot of surface that only gets looked at once a year.

The ten pages above are where most of our work happens, but the smaller places in between — Cassidy, Yellow Point, Saltair, Whiskey Creek, Hilliers, Bowser — are usually within reach too. Call 250-896-9742 and ask. If you are outside our range, we will tell you straight rather than string you along.
Frequently Asked Questions
Your quote is the price for the job, and we will tell you before booking if distance affects it. Nothing gets added to the invoice after the fact.
Nanaimo is home base and where the bulk of our work is, but Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Ladysmith and the rural areas around Cedar, Errington and Coombs are all regular ground for us.
Not automatically. Access, driveway length and how much surface there is to clean matter more than whether you are in town. We walk the property, or look at photos, and price the actual job.
