First, where the water goes: on a sloped lot the rinse runs downhill on its own, so the work starts at the top and pushes the dirty water ahead of the pass rather than back across surface that is already clean. Second, footing. A winter of algae film on a slope is not a cosmetic problem — it is the actual reason a sloped driveway is worth doing before the wet months rather than after them. Steps and the transition at the bottom get the most attention, because that is where the grade changes and footing changes with it.
